Publishing with Adobe PageMill
Edit your PageMill Site Settings:
Open your Edit Site Settings menu.
Under the Generaltab, fill in all fields as described:
Site Name is Whatever you want to name your Web site
Local Folder This is the directory/folder that contains the saved Web site files on your computer.
Host Name Your Domain Name or IP Address provided by VIA NET.WORKS USA
Remote Folder DO NOT FILL IN THIS FIELD
User Name Login ID provided by VIA NET.WORKS USA in your Account Activation Email
Password Password you provided to VIA NET.WORKS USA for your account (found in your Account Activation Email)
Hit OK.
Under the Advanced tab, fill in all fields as shown:
To upload individual objects and/or Web pages with PageMill, do one of the following:
Open the page or frameset you want to upload. Uploading a page uploads that page along with any files associated with it, such as graphics. Uploading a frameset uploads that frameset document and its associated files.
Open the page and select the object you want to upload. Uploading an object uploads the file containing the object and any files associated with the object (such as an associated server-side image map file).
Open the image you want to upload in an Image window.
Do one of the following:
Choose File - Upload - Page.
Choose File - Upload - Frameset.
Choose File - Upload - Object.
Choose File - Upload Image (available only when the Image window is active).
If PageMill can’t find any site settings for a file, it prompts you to create a new site in your "Edit Site Settings" menu as described at the top of the page.
Uploading an entire Web site
1. Load a site (see Working with Web sites in your PageMill Help Menu).
2. Choose Site and Upload from the main menu. You can also right-click the local root folder and choose Upload.
3. Edit the upload settings as needed (see top of page).
